Sunshine Burger sent me some of their organic veggie burgers to try out. I was sent two of each of the following: Garden Herb, Southwest, BBQ, Falafel, and Breakfast. Each package of burgers contained 3 precooked patties. They were sent in a cooler with ice packs. They also let me know ahead of time when to expect delivery. I really appreciated that. I would have hated to be gone when they arrived and had them go bad sitting out in the hot sun.
I had never eaten a veggie burger before trying these. I was really surprised at the amount of taste in each one. They have just the perfect combination of ingredients to give the burger the taste to match the name of the burger. Since these are veggie burgers, they do not hold together as well as a meat burger. You have to handle them gently or they will fall apart on you. You can fry them in a frying pan to heat them up or stick them in the microwave. I chose to use the microwave.
I found these to be a great, quick and healthy meal choice. There is no gluten or soy in these and they are all natural. My favorite is the Southwest Burger. The Southwest Burger has a little bit of a kick to it. I put one on a bun with a little bit of ketchup, and enjoyed. My daughter and husband like the Southwest the best, too. We are definitely a spicy family. My son isn’t much for eating burgers. He has just started to eat sandwiches and occasionally will eat a burger. It’s a matter of timing and I just have to wait for him to cycle back to wanting to eat a burger.
