I received a cute children’s book in the mail. It was sent to me to review and keep. They are also going to provide one for a giveaway. The book is called “Mo Smells Blue: A Scentsational Journey.” It is written by Margaret Hyde and illustrated by Amanda Giacomini.
Mo is a dog and is spending the day at the beach. The story is about the color blue and how it smells. There are scent pages in the book, so that your child can read (or be read to), see and smell that book. If you have allergies, you might have a problem with this book.
My family likes the book, especially my daughter. I have a little problem with the scents, because of my allergies. My kids do not have any problems with the scents. I think the illustrations are creative and fun. The story is easy to follow and fun to read. Our family loves the beach and dogs. The two together make a great combination.
This giveaway begins today and ends Aug. 9, 2010. It will be for 1 copy of “Mo Smells Blue: A Scentsational Journey.” You must live in the US to enter. The winner will be posted on my Winners Page on Aug. 10.

This one I would give to the childrens services center I am working for where underpriveleged and often times “troubled” kids come. We can always use a new book that explores different view points, creativity, and is still fun.
