They look like cabbage to me. Does anyone know if they are or are they something else?

They look like ornamental cabbage. Just for decoration I believe, but they are really pretty.

Cabbage is one of two plants I can keep alive. They’re so beautiful.

Yes, I believe it is ornamental cabbage or flowering kale is another name that comes to mine for the darker color. I think some may be edible, but only during the cooler months & when it is still young.
but don’t quote me, LOL! I know a lot of garden centers have them again close to fall time for cool weather planting, as they can last to well after frost. You’d be surprised what some foods people use as a decorative planting as well & why not! it takes water, dirt and space, so use it for as much as you can! now if we can only convince the bugs & critters to not eat it, we’d all be happier! happy Wednesday everyone!

I did a vlog where I was pointing out how pretty my flowers were, and someone asked what they were… so my next vlog I admitted I didnt know and I got like 35 emails telling me they were Crepe Myrtles. LOL Apparently I am the only woman in the South who didnt know what a Crepe Myrtle was!!
