Healthy Choice Review and Giveaway

Healthy Choice has come out with 8 new Steaming Entrée’s. They are like the Café Steamers, except they steam in one container. Healthy Choice sent me 3 of the 8 to try and review. They were the Chicken Romano Fresco, Portabella Parmesan Risotto, and the Roasted Chicken Verde.

I hated the Portabella Parmesan Risotto. I’m sorry, there’s really no gentle way of saying it. There was no flavor, and the Risotto was like mush. I couldn’t even finish it. The Roasted Chicken Verde was a little better. It had flavor, only I didn’t like the flavor. It was flavored with a cilantro-lime juice. It was too strong for me.

The Chicken Romano Fresco was great. I loved it! It had just the right combination of seasoning and peppers. I would definitely buy this myself. Did I mention that it was also filling? Maybe I have gotten used to eating portions of food that are what I should be eating, but I was completely satisfied with this meal.
