Christmas Was Great

Christmas Was Great

How was your Christmas? Mine was great! Christmas Eve was at my mother-in-law’s apartment. It was crowded, but not stressful. My son was given the best present, Shania Twain. He was given two Shania Twain CD’s, and he absolutely loves them. He had a big grin on his face when he saw them, and that grin was on his face the rest of the day. Needless to say, wherever he went, the CD’s did, too.

Christmas Day was at my Aunt’s house, and we had to keep an eye out for the weather conditions to change. Snow was expected, but there was no telling what time it would start coming down. Soon after the rain started, we headed home. It was a long drive. As it turned out, the snow didn’t start in our area until the middle of the night. We woke up to a few inches of snow on the ground, and the snow was still coming down. As soon as my daughter woke up and saw the snow, she wanted outside. I made her wait until after breakfast.

We managed to get through both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day without any meltdowns. There was food, both days, that my son would eat. I was able to relax and enjoy myself. Everyone helped keep an eye on the kids, so I didn’t have to be in the role of mamma hawk all of the time. I was able to get caught up with what was going on with everyone.

My kids and my husband are off all week. I’m going to try to post everyday this week, but family time might make that impossible. Stacie, Super Mommy To The Rescue, and I will not be doing the Special Needs Blog Hop this week. It will start back up next week. I would love to feature Holiday posts and pictures from my readers. Email me at if you want to be featured. Just send over the post and picture, and I will post it.
