I’ve had this blog since ’08. I have really enjoyed it. I have gotten to know some great people, and have loved sharing my families experiences with my readers. I’ve asked for advice, and given advice. I tried to provide information about autism that I felt was important to share. I’ve written about the highs and lows of raising an autistic child. I’ve even taken time to write about things that have nothing to do with autism.
This has been a great place to discuss whatever was on my mind. The thing is, it costs money to keep a blog going. They have cut hours back at my husband’s work. As much as I hate to consider it, I may have to shut my blog down. It’s up for renewal in a week, and I just don’t have the money. I looked at changing my webhost, and found some reasonable prices, but anything is a lot when you don’t have the extra money to spare.
I’ll make a decision about this by the end of the week. If I can figure out a way to keep my blog going, I may need to ask for help from a blogging friend to switch over to a new host. It would cost $107 to renew my blog with my current host, and I have found a year’s hosting service for half of that. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I’ll let you know when I have figured this out.
