Silk has a new product out called Silk Fruit & Protein – have you seen it in your grocer’s refrigerated section yet? It’s an all natural juice blend that has 5 grams of nourishing soy protein per serving. It’s a nice change up from other fruit juices in the morning, it actually has a texture and taste similar to a light smoothie.
Breakfast is often a time where if you’re rushed it’s difficult to get protein into your meal. So Fruit & Protein is a good way to get that in. It’s also an excellent source of Calcium & Vitamin D. I’ll tell you though it’s not just for breakfast – I’ve been having it for an evening snack too – it helps curb those after dinner munchies that I tend to get.
At most stores you’re going to find Silk Fruit & Protein in a quart size container, but they are available at Walmart in a 1/2 gallon size.
Our family found the Fruit & Protein juice blend very yummy. It comes in three flavors Mixed Berry, Strawberry Banana and Mango Peach. The Mango Peach was my favorite and is so delicious. I tend to migrate toward tropical flavors, so it didn’t actually surprise me that I liked that one best.
