I think this child is beautiful. Imperfections and all. My mother-in-law, Mary Ann Pittman, took this photograph. Her photography teacher told her that she needs to fix the imperfections, make her eyes look normal.
What do you think? Do you think she’s perfect the was she is?

I see nothing wrong with her eyes! She’s absolutely gorgeous!

I don’t get it. I don’t understand what the problem is – and why we always think something needs to be “fixed”…
I think it’s a beautiful picture of a beautiful little girl.

No way! She beautiful, and so is this picture!
I think she’s adorable – I hate when people edit photos. This is who she is and she’s perfect and beautiful!

This picture is gorgeous and the only thing that needs to be fixed is the photography teacher and what she considers beauty. I am sure this child is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.

She’s very beautiful!

She is a lovely child, and altering the photo in the manner suggested would take away from depicting who she is… isn’t that what makes a truly good portrait photo.

She is absolutely beautiful. I can’t believe a teacher would say that.

I always ask my professional photographers to not touch my son’s imperfections. I love them just as they are! Beautiful picture!
Gorgeous!!! She’s working that hair color with her lovely skin tone!

She’s gorgeous! I hate it when so called imperfections are edited out. Nothing needs to be changed about her.

She’s beautiful! I didn’t really notice anything “different” about her until I read the caption, so I think she looks just fine. I’m more confused about why someone has dyed her hair pink.
I think she is absolutely adorable!

well Im not a fan of dying a childs hair (so i hope thats a wig), but her eyes look fine. I am not sure what is wrong w/ them. If you’re talking about the shape, one of mine is rounder than the other and one slants…I dont have anything “wrong” with them, it just happens when I smile, as it does this child. I never thought it was an imperfection.

I don’t think it’s a wig. I like the pink. She’s so adorable, and I think it’s wrong for my MIL’s teacher to want the photo altered. It’s like saying there is something wrong with her, when there isn’t. At least, not to me.
What a cutie patootie. No imperfections there – although the pink hair reminds me of the bloggers in Miami who insist on wearing pink wigs when they go to events.

Thanks for all your great comments. I love her just the way she is. I think she is beautiful. I will hang both the original and edited photo in my studio just to show off my work, but the original is my favorite.
She’s a cutie pie.

I wish I would have colored my daughters hair pink like that when she was completely blonde. Shes older now and her hair is getting too brown, that is very cute!
What a beautiful child! I love this photo!!

Of course nothing should be “fixed.” She’ll look back one day and wonder what’s “wrong” with her that the photographer felt the need to do that.
