Paul Corby, a young autistic man, was denied a heart transplant because he is autistic. I wrote about Paul Corby last week, you can go back and read that if you missed it. There was a big response from my article and others that wrote about his situation. Karen Corby, Paul’s mother, has had a petition online since the beginning. She was having trouble getting the signatures she needed, but now they are pouring in. She could use more. I urge all of my readers to go over there and sign the petition.
Also, there is some good news. Karen has been contacted by the Maya Clinic and two hospitals in Pittsburgh about putting Paul on their lists. This is a huge breakthrough for them. But, in case that doesn’t work out, we need to help Karen get more signatures. Please help her get them by sharing this post.
