Touchstone Trilogy By Andrea K Host

Touchstone Trilogy By Andrea K Host

I discovered a new author on Kindle.  Her name is Andrea K Host, and she writes fantasy books.  I stumbled upon her “Touchstone” Trilogy by accident, and fell in love with the characters in the series.  The books are written like a diary, and really make you feel connected to the main character.

The lead character, Cassandra, accidentally walks through a gate to another world.  It’s set in modern day Australia to begin with, and you are immediately pulled into a fantastical world.  The story is packed full of a lot of action and information.  After I finished reading all 4 books, I had to go back and read them again.  There was a lot that I didn’t get the first time through, which surprised me.  Going back and reading them a second time made it even more enjoyable.

Yes, I did write 4 books.  The “Touchstone” series is a trilogy with a bonus Epilogue book.  Andrea dedicated a book just to wrap up all kinds of little things.  There are a lot of books that I wish I new what happened to the characters after the books ends.  With this Epilogue, all my questions were answered.

Well, almost all of them.  I would love another story that is about Cassandra’s children, along with her mother.  I’d also would love to know what life 10 years down the road in their home.  I’d love to tell you more about the story, but it’s one of those that you really have to read.  I’d love to carry on a discussion with others that have read these books, too.

I’m currently reading Andrea’s “And All The Stars.”  It’s set in modern day Australia, (not surprising since that’s where Andrea lives).  I had a hard time getting through the first chapter, but once I did, I really got into the book.  It’ll take me awhile to read it, since I’m spending a lot of time taking care of my son.  I’ll let you know what I think of it when I’m done.
