Here’s a snack that your kids can help you make. You can also substitute the white bread for wheat bread.
Snackin’ Mini Pizza Bites Recipe
8 slices white bread
6 ounces part-skim mozzarella cheese, sliced
9 slices turkey pepperoni, chopped
1/4 cup Country Crock® Spread or Country Crock® Light Spread
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
2/3 cup prepared pizza sauce, heated
Evenly top 4 bread slices with cheese and pepperoni. Top with remaining 4 bread slices. Combine Country Crock® Spread with oregano and evenly spread top sides of sandwiches with 2 tablespoons.
Heat large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and cook sandwiches, Spread side down, until golden, about 2 minutes. Evenly spread tops with remaining Spread mixture. Turn and cook until golden, about 2 minutes.
Cut each sandwich into 8 wedges. Serve with pizza sauce.
