We are a couple with 5 children. It is difficult at first, especially since my children were addicted to the gluten and dairy (which is what led us to believe that we needed to do this lifestyle change.) My 8 yr old even sniffed out bread at her grandma's and ate 4 pieces before we could stop her. She was *that* addicted! But the changes were incredible! My 2 older children are off Ritalin (they were mis-dx as ADHD) and they are off Prozac and Clonidine now. My 2 yr old twins no longer tantrum, my dh is off his asthma meds and I am off Effexor and no longer wake up with a stuffy nose. Its done wonders for our family! I hi8ghly recommend at least trying it!

Love this post! Even though gluten free/caesin free food may cost a little more to buy, I'm convinced it's cheaper than fast food anyway. And sooooo much better for you!

I have an Aunt who is severly Autistic and lives in care, I can't help but wonder sometimes if she'd gotten the help and dietary intervention when she was younger what would be different.

And you know what? There are so many great and delicious foods we non dairy, non gluten people can eat. Most of the time I never feel like I'm missing out.

A good friend (teacher, coworker) has celiac disea...

A good friend (teacher, coworker) has celiac disease.
